We promise to incorporate your design elements and details without taking over and stressing everyone out. Being anxious is normal so the last thing you need is more tension with a controlling planner. Everyone at OBCC is an Alaskan: we make friends easily, understand the challenges and joys of our home, and we will blend comfortably with your guests to keep things in order and on track without causing a scene. We want to listen YOUR ideas …over a glass of wine or a cup of coffee.Our goal is to achieve an event beyond your wildest dreams…plain & simple.

We can’t possibly thank Coral and Chloë enough for everything they did to help make our wedding even more wonderful than we had imagined it could be. Before hiring them we had committed to a less than beautiful reception site, in fact it was at a bar. We had come to terms with the fact that we would have a fun, but not necessarily beautiful wedding.  Well, thanks to these talented ladies we didn’t have to compromise. No one could believe it! We were stationed at Ft. Wainwright and therefore didn’t have local connections Coral & Chloë listened and made sure we had what we wanted. Our family and friends came from all over the country and we didn’t want them to have to work on anything wedding related while they visited Fairbanks. It was a great day and we had so much fun! Your big day!

It’s YOUR wedding not ours. We take the time to get to know you, your fiancé and your families. We believe what is really happening the day of the wedding, is a family is created. Through your loving relationship all the people that are most important to you both are joined. All the little details and emotions are important, but remembering a wedding is a celebration, not a production is paramount. We actually keep the celebration of your marriage in mind throughout the planning process, which is why we offer a full-scale coordination and design services to ensure you don’t have to deal with the hassles over pricing, menus, and color schemes.

We know the caterer that has perfected grilled salmon and uses locally sourced greens, the baker with gluten–free creations, the best Alaska microbrew, the photographer with a quirky flare, or where to find peonies in mid-July…they really do exist in Alaska! Frankly, it’s not up to us to choose your style or color scheme for you, it’s your decision, but we love to brainstorm and provide you with examples and ideas that will express who you are as a couple. Our team will create all the personal touches, even some you haven’t thought about.

What a party!

Not as highly charged as a wedding, private events are still very personal, and can be stressful. Often the host or hostess works with us to design an event that reflects their personality. Whether it’s your daughter’s Sweet 16 party, a wild, wonderful Alaskan masquerade ball, or a feast of gourmet local foods at a remote fishing lodge, we can orchestrate all your wishes. At Occasions by Coral & Chloë we understand most events have ties to professional and community relationships, so having time to spend with your guests is essential. We will help you create your event and will take care of the details. Your job is to enjoy!

Giving Galas!

The challenge of charity events is making sure the volunteers that work so incredibly hard organizing, designing, promoting, and gaining sponsorship actually have an opportunity to enjoy the event. At Occasions by Coral & Chloë we will step in so you can step out and celebrate your contribution to your cause. We can provide support from conception to clean up. We are Alaskans and we are honored to help organizations providing a helping hand to other Alaskans in need.
